Welcome to the Bay of Islands Farmers' Market, a true celebration of our region's harvest. Whether you are a local regular or just passing through, we invite you to experience the authentic flavours and warm spirit of our market. Established in 2004, we have grown into more than just a place to shop. We are a place where neighbours catch up, visitors discover the "real" Northland, and the link between the farm and the table is kept alive. We are a non-profit organisation that exists to support local growers and producers.
As a proud member of the Farmers' Markets New Zealand (FMNZ), we are an Authentic Farmers' Market. This means we skip the wholesalers and middlemen, bringing you face-to-face with the people who work the land and craft the food.

Northland’s unique subtropical climate is our greatest asset. Our mild temperatures and rich soil allow for a diverse range of seasonal produce that is often the envy of the rest of New Zealand. From lush avocados and citrus to specialty subtropical fruits and crisp vegetables, our markets offer a vibrant taste of the North all year round.

- Kerikeri: Our bustling Sunday morning hub, held year-round, rain or shine.
- Paihia: Our atmospheric Thursday afternoon market at the Village Green, held October-April.

- We Grow What We Sell: Every vendor must be the grower or producer of their goods, all based right here within the Northland region.

Established in 2004 by Lyn Barnes & Peter Jessop, we celebrated our 20th anniversary in 2024, marking two decades of bringing the freshest local food to the heart of our community. We are one of the oldest Farmers' Markets in New Zealand.To celebrate our 20 year anniversary, we honoured our members who have been with us since the beginning, presenting them with Lifetime Memberships.
